Our boy, Yeo Zhi, joined BMP in K1 as we were looking for a kindergarten as his former school is converting to childcare. 

The friendly and caring teachers helped to ease him into his class very quickly. 

Mr Jornie gave keen observations of him in class and put our mind at ease both to his learning and welfare in school. Lin Lao shi managed to engage his interest in chinese and he often talks about what he learns in class. The craft and cookery classes were interesting and he benefited much from it. He also joined the extra art class. He enjoys it very much and developed his artistic skills. 

There were many school events that helped to make him feel at home. The principal and office staff are all very approachable and helpful making it a smooth school transition.

Our daughter, Rhythm has been with Bedok Methodist Preschool since Pre-Nursery. She is excited to go to school since her first day as she gets to learn new things.

Apart from the comprehensive academic curriculum,  the school provides conducive environment for nurturing creativity, social skills, artistic expression and logical thinking. Not forgetting values like kindness, sharing, self-reliance, and sensitivity towards their surroundings that the school inculcates. Our daughter, Joelle, started attending Pre-Nursery in BMP in 2023. Despite the teary initial start, the teachers were patient and kind, and our daughter soon settled and now looks forward to going to school everyday, without failing to ask each night: "What am I going to eat in school?" for the following day. We have seen Joelle develop many skills since beginning school, such as putting things back in the right places, being toilet-trained from using diapers, as well as fine and gross motor skills. Joelle often repeats what she learns in school, mimicking her teachers, and we're often surprised by how much she's learnt. The weekly updates sent by the teachers are also helpful in enabling us to reinforce the learning at home. The Christian education is something we especially appreciate; we were surprised when Joelle could recite John 3:16, or when we hear her sing the songs she's learnt, both English and Chinese Christian songs. The overall curriculum is also engaging and comprehensive, covering various areas of learning and character building, and includes termly excursions. The school environment is clean and spacious, with ample space for indoor and outdoor activities. And the staff are caring and attentive to the pupils' well-being and safety. It is also heartening to see staff recognising and knowing the names of pupils across classes, like a big family. In all, we are grateful to the principal and staff in BMP for creating the warm and conducive environment that has made the first schooling experience for our daughter a positive and enriching one.

We are happy to have our child at the Bedok Methodist Preschool. We have observed a major transformation in our son Benjamin whereby he has developed into a confident and capable child. We've been delighted in our experience sending our daughters to Bedok Methodist Preschool from playgroup onwards. The teachers are very patient, kind and loving - this has helped our girls to adapt very well despite having separation anxiety in the beginning. They both now enjoy school very much and have made many friends. As a Christian-centric kindergarten, our girls have been taught foundational Christian values, good social skills and a rigorous academic curriculum to prepare them eventually for Primary school. We've certainly enjoyed watching them grow as young Christian children, developing good habits and skills learnt in school. The girls also enjoy the special events the school organises, be it festive celebrations like Easter and Christmas or excursions to kid-friendly places outside of school. 

As parents, we are thankful to have Bedok Methodist Preschool as our kids’ kindergarten. They love attending school at BMP!
